InterID – International Institute of Identification is pleased to announce the addition of Brasilio Caldeira Brant, a renowned specialist in human identification, to its technical team. As the Director of the Institute of Applied Sciences in Biometrics for Human Identification (ICBID) and a retired federal police fingerprint analyst, Brant brings to InterID vast experience accumulated over years of work in public security and biometric identification.
With a distinguished career, Brasilio Caldeira Brant served as the Director of the National Identification Institute of the Federal Police from 2013 to 2023, during which time he led strategic projects and made significant contributions to advancing human identification techniques in Brazil. Holding a degree in Public Security Management from the University of Southern Santa Catarina and specializing in human identification from the National Police Academy, Brant is also a professor in postgraduate courses on fingerprint analysis, with a focus on topics such as Papilloscopy and Prosopography (facial comparison).
