On December 18 and 19, Brasília hosted the official launch of the 2025 Digital Citizenship Congress, now established as the largest event in the field of identification and citizenship in Brazil. Organized by ABRID – the Brazilian Association of Digital Identification Technology Companies, the launch included the formal presentation of the event’s institutional framework to several supporters.
Célio Ribeiro, Executive President of ABRID, officially presented the institutional framework to the National Institute of Information Technology (ITI), represented by its President, Enylson Camolesi.

The 2025 Digital Citizenship Congress is supported by several federal government institutions and promises to be a significant gathering for identification and citizenship.
Highlighting this year’s theme, Célio Ribeiro stated:
“National Integration will be the primary focus of the 2025 Digital Citizenship Congress. Our goal is to ensure that all Brazilians have access to secure and inclusive civil identification, connecting citizens to rights and services efficiently and modernly.”
The launch marked the beginning of a journey that will culminate in Brasília from September 23 to 25, 2025, featuring debates, panels, and practical demonstrations on the future of digital citizenship in Brazil.
