The president of Abrid and InterID, as well as the executive secretary of the Mixed Parliamentary Front for the Guarantee of the Right to Identity (FrenID), Célio Ribeiro, participated today (February 5) in the ceremony honoring Papiloscopist Day at the Federal Senate. During the event, several papiloscopists who hold key positions in the Brazilian identification system were honored.
For Célio Ribeiro, papiloscopists are professionals who deserve respect and recognition. “I feel very honored to participate in this important ceremony, paying tribute to papiloscopy professionals who master the science of biometrics and accompany the population through significant moments in life, from birth to death. They are highly qualified professionals who work with great dedication for Brazilian society,” he emphasized.
Papiloscopists are professionals engaged in various activities, including solving crimes, identifying victims, issuing identity documents at official identification agencies, and handling biometric processes in all their forms.
