FrenID launch nears

The Joint Parliamentary Front for the Guarantee of the Right to Identity (FrenID) will be launched in two weeks, on May 24, in the Chamber of Deputies. Coordinated by Congresswoman Flávia Morais (PDT-GO) and Senator Eliziane Gama (PSD-MA), FrenID receives full support from the International Institute of Identification (InterID).

For the CEO of InterID, Célio Ribeiro, the date will represent a milestone for the Identification System in Brazil.

“It is history being written before all of us. With this achievement, the National Congress will be working to seek the best guidelines for guaranteeing this fundamental principle of citizenship, which is identification. We will be working to provide each individual with access to their identity and participation in a platform of services that will accompany them throughout their lives”, he celebrated.
