InterID Celebrates Labor Day: A Tribute to Citizenship and Social Inclusion

On Labor Day, InterID highlights the importance of citizenship and social inclusion as fundamental pillars for a just and equitable society. This day not only celebrates workers’ achievements but also reminds us of the ongoing need to promote an environment where everyone has access to their basic rights, including civil identification.

The National Identity Card (CIN) has been a crucial tool in this process, offering not only a means of identification but also access to essential public services. With over 6.5 million Brazilians already benefiting, the CIN represents a significant step forward in digital inclusion and in guaranteeing every citizen’s rights.

Each person who receives their CIN not only obtains an identification document but also becomes part of a system that values citizenship and active participation in society. InterID celebrates the implementation of the CIN across all regions of Brazil, directly contributing to the building of a more just and equal society.

On this Labor Day, InterID reaffirms its commitment to promoting citizenship, social inclusion, and the recognition of dignified work. Here is a message from its executive president, Célio Ribeiro: “We congratulate all workers for their effort and dedication, especially the few but committed professionals working directly on the CIN project within the federal government and official identification bodies of the states, with the conviction that together we can build a more citizen-focused future for all.”

Happy Labor Day!
