Representatives of the Digital Identity Industry visit ITI

With the new scenario of structuring identification in Brazil, where the National Institute of Information Technology (ITI) has taken on new responsibilities within the Citizen Identification Service, we had the privilege of presenting to its President and board the work developed in a decentralized manner alongside the Official Identification Agencies of the Federation Units. This joint effort ensures that the National Identity Card (CIN) reaches the hands of every Brazilian.

CIN, OUR GREATEST INSTRUMENT OF CITIZENSHIP.

On Wednesday, February 28th, the National Institute of Information Technology (ITI) received representatives from companies associated with Abrid (Brazilian Association of Digital Identification Technology Companies) to present the progress of the National Identity Card (CIN) in Brazilian states.

The group was created within Abrid with the specific goal of providing ITI with information that could assist in meeting its responsibilities regarding the National Identity Card (CIN).According to data from the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI), as of February 21st, four million CIN units have been issued in 23 states and in the Federal District.
