Decree extends adaptation period to CIN standard and stipulates new governance

Last Friday, March 3, 2023, the President of the Republic Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva issued Decree No. 11,429, which updates the bodies that operate in the Citizen Identification Service and extends the deadline for adapting to the standard of the Identity. The rule provides that the Special Secretariat of the Federal Revenue edit the procedure and form of access to the CPF base, a number that is the key to link the data of the natural person in the Citizen Identification Service.
